Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 1 semana. Acudí a una entrevista en Zillow (Chicago, IL) en jun 2022
Entrevista
The initial interview was very pleasant. I spoke with someone in HR who did a preliminary screening interview. I was then scheduled to speak with the hiring manager a few days later.
I could just tell from the moment the interview started I had no shot to impress this manager. The very first question was about what Im looking for in my next role and the types of jobs Ive been applying for. This is rather odd. Every interview Ive ever done usually starts with asking the candidate to give a brief background on their current role and then using that to transition into why this new role appeals to them. Out of the 50 allotted minutes for this interview I was asked a total of 3 questions and finished 25 minutes early. Ive never done an interview that seemed so unorganized and lacking direction to really understand the candidate's background. Seems like the hiring manager already made up in her mind I wasn't going to advance to the next round and just did the interview to get it done with.
