The QA interview was engaging, featuring diverse puzzles like the jar problem, battery graph analysis, and creative test case scenarios, effectively assessing problem-solving, analytical thinking, and practical testing skills under time constraints.

I got this opportunity through a google form link shared on my clg TPO grp, first there was an online assessment consisting 25 apti questions and 3 scenario based questions. I cleared this round and got the mail just one day before the interview, there were 2 interviewers on the panel, first they asked me with my introduction then my major project which I explained them in detail but as far as I understood from their reactions they didn't understand a bit as it was an AI project related to langchain, vector databases n all. Then they started with the puzzle questions. 1st question: there are 2 jugs with 5 litres and 3 litres capacity now u have to fill 4 litres of water and u have infinite supply of water. Ans: fill 5 litres of jug and pour it in the 3 litres of jug now 5 litres of jug is holding 2(5-3) litres of water and empty the 3 litres of jug. Then fill the 3 litres of jug with the 5 litres of jug which is currently holding 2 litres of water, so the 3 litre capacity jug will hold 2 litres of water and fill the 5 litres of jug fully again. Now pour the water from 5 litres of jug to 3 litres of jug but as of now 3 litres jug is already holding 2 litres of water so now it can hold 1 more litre of water so will transfer this 1 litre from 5 litres of jug, finally the 5 litres will jug now hold 4(5-1) litres of water. 2nd question: There is a snail which goes 3km/hr in upwards direction on a wall and 2km/hr in downwards direction how much time will it take to travel 30 km. Ans: 30 hrs. 3rd question: There are 3 switches out of which 1 holds the connection with a bulb inside the room, u will only get one chance to turn on a button from the 3 buttons, how can you select the correct button? Ans: 💡 ( I don't know). 4th question: One person goes 8 km in north direction then 6 km in east direction how far is it from the origin. Ans: By pythagoras theorem 10 km. Then the interview was over. No technical questions were asked!
