Entrevista
Started with a casual chat on the phone with the person on the marketing team who was hiring for the role. He was super nice, really wanted to focus on getting to know me and giving some insight into the culture at Zenly before proceeding to a formal interview to make sure we were both on the same page.
Within a week I was in Paris at Zenly HQ to have back to back in-person interviews (February 2020, right before the pandemic shut everything down). The office was beautiful and it was so great to walk in and get a feel for the atmosphere of the team in the midst of a normal working day. I could immediately see myself working there.
I had nearly a full hour 1:1 with the CEO, which felt like such a privilege and meant I got to hear directly from the source what the future of the company is going to look like and how I could contribute to it. I then had 1:1s with 2 different members of the marketing team to chat generally about my background and discuss the specific role and my skills in more detail, then a 1:1 with the head of design and then with the head of HR.
Everyone was so friendly and welcoming and the process was very quick and very transparent - I received an offer within 3 days of my interview in the office and signed it the next day!
