I had one initial interview with an HR specialist, then, 2 weeks later an interview with a content manager, and finally I was given a take-home task that I had to complete in 5 days. The task was not that big but after submission I waited for a reply from them for 4 WEEKS. I emailed an HR representative to ask for updates 3 times in that period and was told there was nothing new to share. And then I got an email which said that my application can no longer be considered because this position has already been filled. As someone who likes to stay updated and is very attentive towards a potential employer, I am very disappointed with the process and especially with the outcome. The interviews always felt rushed and my interviewers always said that their meetings were back to back, allowing no flexibility and not even letting me ask half of my questions. And also no comment about the final reply from them, it's simply frustrating and Zalando now feels like a conveyor which either takes you in and keeps you busy like a robot, or just spits you out.
