Entrevista
I interviewed for a position at ZEISS and had a mixed experience.
The interviewers were professional, friendly, and made me genuinely excited about the opportunity. The conversations were engaging, and the role itself seemed like a great fit.
Unfortunately, the hiring process was extremely slow and communication from HR was disappointing. After completing multiple rounds of interviews, I spent months waiting for updates and had to repeatedly follow up just to get basic information on my status. Most of the time, I either received vague responses or no response at all. I never got a answer and was GHOSTED.
I understand that hiring decisions can take time, but candidates invest a significant amount of effort preparing for interviews and making themselves available throughout the process. The lack of communication and follow-through left me feeling like my time was not respected.
The hiring managers and interview team made a positive impression, but the recruiting experience ultimately overshadowed that. Better communication and transparency would go a long way toward improving the candidate experience.
