I basically had a similar experience as many of the reviews on here. I applied and I heard from someone in 3 days. From there I was set up with a phone interview. After my phone interview which was a week after they reached out, I had a Skype interview. Yelp seemed to want to me fairly fast with the process which is nice. For my skype interview to start off they were late. So I was already kind of irritated by that but then the people who I interviewed with were super casual and slouched during it. It sent vibes that I didn't know if I liked. The interview was about 40 minutes long. I spoke with two different hiring managers and we went over two different role plays. The first was to try and convince someone to buy as space. The second role play was to convince someone who you had previously talked to about Yelp to join and why they are the best option. It was a fairly straight forward interview and wasn't anything hard. They are looking for someone to listen to their feedback and how honestly just wants to cold call all day.

Very professional, informative, and timely interview process. I was very impressed with how well put together the entire process was and how fast things moved. Everyone on the hiring team was extremely punctual and even willing to take extra time to make sure all your questions are answered.

The interview process was pleasant from start to finish. It included a recruiter phone screen, a video call with the sales manager, a role play exercise, and the opportunity to implement the manager’s feedback.

The interview process with Yelp was a very organized experience. From the first email after I put in my application, to the offer extension call, I always felt well informed and included.
