The interview process was incredibly off-putting. The hiring manager asked me questions that had nothing to do with the actual position (ex: “what’s the most controversial opinion that you have?) and proceeded to talk about how anti-Google they are and how over 500 people applied for the position (unsure of what this had to do with me). I immediately emailed the recruiter and rescinded my application.
