Interviewed on the phone several times w/ former CEO; met with representatives of seach committee and the board; attended multiple events at the organization, large and small; then interviewed with the full search committee and members of the board multiple times. I was extremely prepared, but after a certain point the hours and hours of interviews and expectations that fit w/ those of a large organization seemed out of sync for guiding, managing, and growing a small one. Very nice people, however.
