They asked me to build a full-stack web application using an AI-powered IDE. The main focus was not only on writing code, but also on how I use AI during the development process: breaking down tasks, generating and improving code, debugging issues, understanding the suggestions, and making sure the final implementation works correctly.
The interview process consisted of multiple stages and was conducted on-site at the Wix offices. Upon arrival, candidates were divided into small groups.
The assessment was split into two main parts. The first part focused on algorithmic problem-solving, similar to LeetCode-style questions, where candidates were required to demonstrate their coding and analytical skills. The second part involved debugging an application, where candidates had to identify and fix issues in existing code.
Overall, the process evaluated both problem-solving abilities and practical debugging skills in a real-world scenario.
I applied through an employee, First an HR call, getting details about the position and asking me about previous experience and why do I want to apply to Wix. Next was an online coding interview with sandbox with some coding questions I needed to answer and explain. LeetCode questions
