You know when the interview was extremely easy and you get that gnawing feeling that this might be a very bad choice. Yeah THAT feeling.
These folks didn't have the slightest idea of how to conduct a proper interview to really find out if the person is a good fit for them or if the job is a good fit for the candidate (I was later told that the last person for that position was hired 13 years ago, so obviously they haven't practiced a whole lot)
I felt like some of the interviewers were totally disinterested in the process and blew it off as "good enough" without actually doing any digging.
They had two positions open: one for which (in retrospect) I was not a good fit at all, and one for which I would have been a pretty good fit. I was told it was much more urgent that they fill job#1 and got talked into "Doing job#1 for a while to become familiar with the process and then transitioning to job#2 which is my specialty"... the transition never happened. in reality they don't truly need #2, they already have some... they just need #1 robots.
