Interview process was regular by today's tech sector standards. Recruiter phone screen, followed by back to back interviews with a Recruiter and RC, followed by back to back interviews with the Head of Recruiting and Growth Engineering (stakeholder interview). The Recruiter I worked with was great, she laid out the expectations of the process and prepared me greatly for each interview. However, I rated my experience as negative due to my experience with my last interview. I was told in my last interview, verbatim, that if I wasn't willing to work nights and weekends, that I wouldn't be a great fit for the company. Though I understand this line of work can sometimes require that, to hold that against a candidate seems a little ridiculous. I was also disturbed to how this interviewer conducted themselves. There was visible eye rolling to my answers followed by some smart remarks. Even if answers don't internalize with you at first, professionalism goes a long way in the reflection of a company. I felt some questions were very ad-hoc, which is fine, but there didn't seem to be any structure to the interview.
