Me postulé a través de un reclutador. El proceso tomó 6 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Whatfix (Bengaluru) en mar 2021
Entrevista
A very straightforward interview process; consisted of 3 rounds
First, was a 30 mins telephonic conversation with a sales recruiter. The objective was to gauge the role fitment
The second round was with the hiring manager. A 45 mins discussion on the current role, expectations and a 1 min elevator pitch
Third round was with Sales Head. It was a scenario-based demo round and a 10min performance feedback
Preguntas de entrevista [1]
Pregunta 1
1. Give a 1 min elevator pitch to a relevant persona about your product
2. Objection handling questions during the demo
I went through multiple interviews with the company. The first time, I didn’t perform well and getting rejected was completely fair. However, I was later invited to interview again, only to be rejected—not based on my skills or performance, but simply because a different manager had rejected me during the earlier round.
It felt less like a structured evaluation and more like a power dynamic between managers—where decisions were influenced by internal hierarchy rather than merit. If hiring decisions depend on which manager's opinion carries more weight rather than a fair assessment of a candidate’s potential, it says a lot.
Unfortunately, this experience only reinforces some of the rumors I’d heard about the management culture at Whatfix. Disappointing, to say the least.

Be careful interviewing with Whatfix.
Got reached out by their recruiter that was a outside recruiter.
1. These guys record the online meeting and state they have to socialize to other team members that you already interviewed with.
2. During the online sessions they will ask you for previous Governance slides/Customer Success aspects to get information.
3. They will do LinkedIn backdoor reference checks on you. Bassicaly they will LinkIn with you and then send LinkedIn (Inmails) to your contacts to find out on previous work aspects.
4. Thier office is super small and disorganized. There conference is smaller then my master bedroom closet and posters on the wall are not framed and put up with tap and falling down.
