      Entrevista

      The process consisted of 4 1 on 1 interviews with people with the following roles: 1. Talent Acquisition Lead Associate 2. Senior Manager of Client Sales & Success SMB 3. Director of Partnerships 4. VP of SMB This is followed by contacting 2 referrals, who can be 2 among a current or previous manager, coworker, or client. The HR team member, Hector Guerrero, provided great communication, empathy, and honesty that guided me throughout the process and set me up for success after the first interview with him. Regarding the content of the interviews: 2. Senior Manager of Client Sales & Success SMB: More of a technical interview about my background, sales style, soft skills and hard skills that relate to the role, motivation, what the role entails, KPIs, quick role playing on the ending of a sales meeting after a demo. 3. Director of Partnerships: Very direct and honest interview to set expectations and dig into flags about my experience that could be disqualifiers for him wanting me to join the team. He read my LinkedIn profile to a greater extent than others by noticing my voluntary work on 2023 which showed he has a high attention to detail and is geniunely curious about others (great trait for someone in sales and management). Transparent person and direct to the point. 4. VP of SMB: Very similar to the previous interview, the main focus was on learning more about me and see if two doutbs were disqualifiers or there were good reasons that would explain those and not disqualify me for the role. This was maybe the most challenging interview as this person is not as transparent as the previous one and, like the previous one, was also very direct. This person showed empathy and active listening, like all others, and made some remarks that showed he is also someone that is interested in others, which is great for someone in sales and management. Note: I had a referral from someone who is in the sales team as well in a senior management position and a tenure of over 5 years in the company, and the opinion of this person most likely also had weight not only for me to be considered and be interviewd but also on the final decision of the team. If you are a good fit and there is someone believable in the company that also has a good opinion on you, that's gives you an advatage over others that also are deemed as a good fit but no one knows them to vouch for them.
