Entrevista
I applied through a third party recruiter. I met with a recruiter for 20 minutes in person. The next step was a take home coding exercise. The WeWork recruiter asked me to spend considerable amount of time(6+ hours) and to write "production quality". The problem could be solved within an hour easily.
The problem itself was more interesting than what you typically see in interviews so I decided to give it a good shot. I submitted the work through my recruiter. 4-5 days later I requested feedback, and just got a "No Thanks".
I don't think WeWork owes me an interview or a job, but there should be some basic decency. If you're expecting someone to spend 5+ hours on something, spend the extra 5 minutes to write down feedback and forward it to them. For what it's worth, this is the first time I haven't received an on-site after submitting code like this.
I wouldn't recommend WeWork to others, because they don't treat applicants with respect.
