I was recruited by IT Director. He did a phone interview first, then we followed up with a meeting in a restaurant after 5:00 pm. During the interview he gave me a verbal description of the job and salary offer. I was not going to accept because it was low and I didn't like the title Team Lead as I have been a director/Manager for many years. He assured me that it was for a short time and his intentions were to make me a full manager and with this came an significant increase. Reality was that he never did either and later denied making this commitment.
