Online application and then go into a store and complete an in store test. The in-store test was very easy and took about 30 minutes to complete. Then I got a call from Walgreens almost three months later asking if I was still interested in the position and to come in for an interview. The interview was very basic. I did not have any experience in a pharmacy so mainly the questions were about my resume and what I would do in different scenarios. I got a call about a week later to go in for a drug test and then once I passed the test, I started work.

Entrevista
I applied online and was contacted to schedule an interview. The interview was straightforward and mostly focused on my availability, customer service experience, teamwork, and why I wanted to work in a pharmacy setting. They asked behavioral questions about handling difficult customers, working with coworkers, and staying organized in a busy environment. The pharmacist interviewed me and was professional, explained the role, expectations, and next steps clearly. The store manager was also present and took notes. I am still waiting to hear back about an offer.

Straightforward, started off with introductions. Focused on experience, comfortability with learning new skills, interest in healthcare and Walgreens as a company. It was important to show how and why you’re interested in healthcare.

Take me through a day in the life of your previous place of employment.
Very easy and laid back interview process. Unfortunately, Walgreens doesn’t have a great retention rate so they hire who they can as long as you tell them you have an interest in working long term.
