      Entrevista

      Three rounds of interviews, all of which have been conducted with the team. The EC (Employee Compensation) team works in a regional cluster. Interviewing from the Netherlands, I have got to meet a senior and a mid-level employee residing in the Netherlands, as well as a senior and a mid-level employee who are part of the cluster but residing abroad. The process started with an assessment comprising behaviour questions and capabilities assessment (online), followed by three rounds of interviews, of which the second interview was case specific. Went through the whole selection procedure - this took a bit shorter than 2 months. The decision-makers had doubts from the beginning, but without disclosing that, they let me go over the whole recruiting process and then took a unilateral decision. Got rejected because I am "over-qualified and scored too high on certain competencies whereas I do not have any expertise in Executive Compensation". For a position that requires no specific expertise and from a firm that is "striving for excellence". I have been told, they wish I had scored lower in the assessment. Then I would have gotten a better chance. At least they have a sense of humour. Would not apply again nor would I recommend anyone else to apply.
