I had a good experience up until the end. I received a generic, unpersonalized rejection email from the ATS. After spending several weeks in the interview process and staying in contact with the recruiter, I expected to be notified of a decision directly from the recruiter. I can understand if I am not the strongest candidate for the role, but its unprofessional to send such a generic email after a candidate puts the time and effort into interviewing for the role and has reached the end of the process. I was genuinely shocked and disappointed in how that was handled.
