Chaotic process – I was invited to connect with the hiring manager, who joined the call late. Shortly after, I was rejected, only to be invited to a final round two weeks later. Following that round, I heard nothing for three weeks until I reached out, at which point I was told I didn’t make it. This experience felt unprofessional. Two possible explanations come to mind: either they had a preferred candidate and were waiting for that decision, or their recruitment team did not prioritize respectful communication with applicants
