Unfortunately, my experience with the Western Digital interview process was frustrating and unprofessional. The recruiter initially reached out via email, but despite multiple attempts to connect—including back-to-back phone tags and voicemails—they never followed through on actually scheduling a time to speak. After missing each other a couple of times, I specifically requested a scheduled time to avoid further miscommunication. Instead of honoring this request, the recruiter decided to remove my candidacy without ever having a conversation with me. This lack of communication and follow-through made for a disappointing experience and reflects poorly on their hiring process. If a structured and transparent recruitment process is important to you, I’d recommend proceeding with caution.
