Typical 3 step process. HR screen, followed by a take-home. Everything was fine until the onsite. They need to improve their onsite interviewing structure for engineering. The first interviewer gave the most irrelevant trivia question that was also language-specific. I did not prepare for obscure trivia questions, and needed a bit of discussion to get to the answer. It honestly felt like the interviewer was stroking their own ego. I would have actually preferred a standard white-boarding question. The interviewer also seemed to have no confidence in the questions he was asking. Overall, it was one of the most awkward and uncomfortable engineering onsites I've been to. I would recommend this company to look at other tech companies for a better onsite structure. I did not get an offer, but would have turned this one down either way.
