Volvo HR hired a cheap candidate and revoked my offer as I was asking for more compensation. Although I was the top candidate for the role as per the interview. So, it started with a responsive recruiter. After initial HR round, I was given an coding assignment. I did that assignment nicely, and then its was a tech interview with a Software dev and Team lead. The interview was of normal difficulty, and the team lead told me that my assignment solution was the best he has seen so far. After that it was a Values Interview with Hiring manager. It went well and hiring manager had a pretty nice impressions of me. They were really happy with my interview. After that, we discussed salary, and then they started negotiating again. Which was very unprofessional as I mentioned it to HR in the initial meeting. It turned out that they gave an offer to someone else and ghosted me. I got the impression that my time was wasted
