Surprisingly disappointing process. After applying for a role I was sent an email asking for some dates and times I was available for an interview, I promptly replied giving three dates and times I was available, but then heard nothing back from them, even after sending two further follow up emails.
Assuming the job had been filled, I forgot about the position, until I had an email out of the blue three weeks later asking for a phone interview with HR/recruitment. I obliged, and was told I'd hear back by the end of that week, but heard nothing.
Another two weeks later I had an email out of the blue asking if I could come in the following day for an interview at the office. I couldn't make it in, but scheduled a phone interview. This went fine, and was then further asked to do some written tasks across the weekend.
By this point I had decided the role wasn't for me, and was hugely disappointed in the lack of care and interest that had been shown by the company. Five weeks, and a number of ignored emails wasn't the best indication of a supportive company that was worth my time.
I wouldn't usually write a damning review of any company, but to the staff at vevo I should warn that any potential staff member being interviewed is also probably a prospective client down the line. This industry is small, and people tend to remember bad experiences. I would recommend tightening your procedures and treating all possible future employees with the same respect you would expect to be treated with.
