      Entrevista

I recently went through the interview process for a sales position at Verizon, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing and frustrating experience. Here's a breakdown of the key aspects: 1. Application and Initial Contact: The application process was standard, but the initial contact seemed impersonal. I received a generic response, and the phone screen felt rushed, leaving little room for meaningful discussion about my qualifications and experiences. 2. First Round Interview: The first in-person interview was less about understanding my skills and more about a generic overview of the company. The interviewer seemed disinterested in my past experiences, and the questions lacked depth. It left me questioning the relevance of the process. 3. Assessment Tools: While I understand the need for assessments, the tools used felt outdated and did not truly capture the skills required for the sales role. The results were not adequately discussed, making it challenging to understand how they impacted the overall evaluation. 4. Panel Interview: The panel interview felt more like an interrogation than a discussion. The questions were repetitive, and there was little effort to establish a rapport. Cultural fit was emphasized, but it wasn't clear how this was being evaluated. 5. Scenario-based Interview: The sales pitch presentation was a frustrating experience. There was a lack of clear guidelines, and it felt like a guessing game rather than an opportunity to showcase my skills. The feedback provided afterward was vague and unhelpful. 6. Final Interview: The final interview included a conversation with an executive team member, but it felt rushed and lacked depth. The discussions on compensation were vague, and there was little transparency about the company's expectations for the role. 7. Post-Interview Assessment: Despite numerous follow-ups, there was no feedback provided after the interviews. The lack of communication regarding my application status was frustrating and unprofessional. 8. Offer and Onboarding: Unfortunately, I did not receive an offer, and the communication regarding the decision was delayed. The lack of transparency and feedback left me with a negative impression of the company's hiring process. Overall Impression: The interview process at Verizon was a letdown. The lack of personalized communication, outdated assessment tools, and the overall disorganized nature of the process made it a frustrating experience. The absence of an offer, coupled with the lack of feedback, leaves me questioning the fairness and professionalism of the hiring process. I hope this feedback contributes to a more transparent and candidate-friendly process in the future.

They asked a lot of very generic questions. The interviewer said they would reach out within a week to tell me if I would get an offer or not, but I never heard from them again.
