Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 3 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Verizon (Playa del Rey, CA) en nov 2016
Entrevista
Technical round was not planned properly. Engineers who took the interview came late and asking the same questions their peers had asked earlier. This shows there is no coordination between the team as even being in the team the engineers work independently. I would suggest them asking questions related to the position instead of asking irrelevant basic stuff?

How BGP works? IBGP vs eBGP?
What is Anycast?
What is VPN? Define IP Sec?
How layer-2 frames are forwarded? Seriously? This is one of the irrelevant questions asked which was not required as it was simple but caused confusion because when you are asking high level BGP operation how can you fall back and ask Layer-2 traffic flow?
The interviewer was very rude . Asked what I know and what I do not know and deliberately asked the topics I mentioned I didn't . Wrapped up the interview in 15 minutes

Easy and quick, started with an email out to their recruitment team. Got an email back and arranged interview. Then received an email back within the next week saying the result.

first contact was with a recruiter. Then an interview was scheduled with two managers. Pretty standard interview questions “Describe a situation where you…”. Just a little bit of googling before your interview should prepare you for these kinds of questions. Then there was some technical questions They weren’t real hard, But one of them I wasn’t super comfortable talking about, especially with people who definitely did know what they were talking about, so I just said I’m familiar with the concept, but I don’t know enough to explain it.
