Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 4 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Vantor en sept 2023
Entrevista
Pretty straight forward. HR sanity-check call, hiring manager call, one panel interview with some engineers and leadership. Took about a month from initial application to offer. My initial recruiter was laid-off in the middle of this process which confused logistics a little bit for all parties. Initial recruiter said that my desired salary was a cake-walk for the company, which sort of baited me into finishing the whole interview pipeline. However, when the offer was written, it came in roughly 30k below my initial asking with no wiggle room, so I declined.

The interview process fairly disorganized. The recruiter had me interview for two separate teams, then one team decided they "could get by with hiring a contractor instead", then after I completed what was supposed to be my final interview step and received great feedback, the company dissolved the team. So, I then ended up getting an offer still, which was great, but I was placed onto a team that I didn't interview for, and was eventually dissolved only a few months later. All of this points to just lack of organization and good roadmapping/planning from management and leadership.

I had like 5 rounds of interviews. Two were live coding interviews that included easy to medium leet code style questions. Most were conversational with occasional technical and behavioral questions like "tell me about your experience debugging a complex system" or "tell me about your approach with system design" , "what is a python package you like and why"
