I did a 1:1 interview and a panel interview (3:1), in both sessions I felt like I was interrupting royalty and god forbid these individuals had to sit down with the likes of me. They asked very vague questions about my past jobs and my current job and all they did was attempt to ask questions while dropping as many buzz words they could. Even when I asked them to clarify their questions I still could not understand what they wanted from me. I have a friend who referred me who said they’ve been trying to fill the role I interviewed for, for a very long time; I don’t think it’s the candidates they’re bringing in for interviews, I think it’s the interviewees because I know a few other people who interviewed and they are quality candidates who found jobs with other organizations very easily.
