I was called on the phone, spoke with my manager, and due to my credentials and the current opening available, I was offered full-time employment over the phone. I'm sure that while this isn't exactly uncommon for a large resort with employees from all over, this was key for us as we were relocating to a resort town and needed to secure employment before arriving. The manager was pleasant.
