I was interviewed on phone by engineers and then the director. The HR usually sets up an initial screening call to check the background and applicability of the candidate. This is followed by an interview from the team that needs the manager followed by the director.

Questions were based mostly on management style. I loved how I was interviewed by the engineers I was supposed to manage.
However, the director was supposed to interview me in a week and did not for several weeks. And when he did, he seemed annoyed he was made to interview me. He simply did not have anything much to ask and seem to have already made his mind.

Entrevista
It was quite challenging. I had a telephonic round where my basic skills were confirmed. Later a hacker rank online test. After this, I am yet to get a reply from the team at VMWare. I hope to get a call for the face to face discussion
