I interviewed for 2 separate positions at VML several weeks apart. Both times, the interview process was fractured and drawn out, with bottlenecks slowing the process, repetitive conversions and a general lack of conviction around what they wanted. But the most disappoints part of the experience was timing on final decisions. It was drawn out to the point of qualifying as ghosting…meaning chasing a conclusion through multiple follow up emails after waiting weeks. The worst part? They are posting deceiving salary ranges and underpaying in major markets. Steer clear if you’re a serious talent on the rise.

It was a pretty standard recruiter screening. They wanted to know about my own experience and how it related to the client I would potentially be working on. They told me a lot about the job, which was nice.
The interview was very simple and quick. Straightforward questions from the ECD. The role was explained clearly and so was the client, and the expectations were laid very well. I enjoyed the interview and never felt spoken down to.
