Very unprofessional. The process started smoothly enough with conversations with a recruiter and hiring manager. But after I was told that I'd be moving to the next round, these people subsequently ghosted me and all of my correspondences for WEEKS. By the time they finally sent me a rejection, I had already moved on. I took time out of MY day to speak with these people, and they couldn't even offer me the courtesy of a response in a reasonable amount of time. Additionally, the pay they were offering was significantly less the range indicated in the job post, so there's severe dishonesty there. Also, consider this tidbit of irony: the position aims to tell stories of the veterinarians that VCA represents. Veterinarians have to make incredibly difficult phone calls EVERY SINGLE DAY, but the people hiring for this position couldn't even be bothered to respond to a simple e-mail in a reasonable amount of time. What does that tell you?
