Sent coding challenge. Did that then had onsite interview with white boarding coding problems and a behavioral interview questions. Ask questions about my experience working with data science teams. I get the impression that their platform is built around the data science tools that they have developed.

Pregunta 1
How to design a distributed streaming system to process vibration data. Had to whiteboard out the result. Think they wanted me to talk about Storm and other streaming tools, which I did. They did ask about machine learning models briefly also.
2 phone interviews followed by a in person interview that had 3 different sessions. Each session covered different aspects (programming, design, culture). The programming sessions was a white boarding session and the rest were discussions.

Recruiter reaches out saying found my background impressive and would like to talk to me about Senior Software Engineer position at Uptake. Schedules a 30 mins phone screen and then does not call. I send an email stating didn't receive the call, recruiter responds back asking when are you available next week (No apologies, nothing). Reschedules the meeting for next week and again does not call, no email nothing. I send an email again, this time responds back saying "Sorry, It's been a crazy week". What time are you free to talk next week.
Really, do you think after all this I am going to want to talk to you to explore opportunities at Uptake.

This should not have happened and we're sorry to hear it was your experience. We're very busy around here but that's no excuse. We'll be addressing this internally.
