Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 1 semana. Acudí a una entrevista en Universal Protection Service (Rosemont, IL) en dic 2015
Entrevista
After submitting my application online, I received a phone call from Human Resources in about 2-3 days after applying and received an interview at their office in Rosemont, IL.
Once I got to the office at the agreed upon time, I was greeted by no one at their front desk until 10 minutes later someone noticed I was standing there.
After noticing me, they told me that Jennifer Pike would be interviewing me in a moment. 30 minutes after the agreed upon time, I was finally escorted into Jennifer's office and talked about the job.
She asked me a couple of questions about my interest in Security and then proceeded to ask me about my schedule and my availability.
Afterwards, she assigned me to a site (Nippon Express - Aurora, IL) and told me to come back in 3 days for the orientation/training.
Whole process from walking into the office and out took about 1-2 hours.

Entrevista
After doing prior research about the openings and filling out an online application I arrived at an on-site location and filled out a form similar to my online application with additional questions regarding observation of my surroundings.
After filling out the form I spoke with a manager within the company who reviewed my hand-written observations and queried me on my previous job experience as well as personal life goals and whether I see myself working for this company in the long-term.
Upon finishing the Manager and I shared some casual conversation before leaving the interview room and going to speak with one of his associates to acquire another form for my guard card training.
It was straight forward, low-stress and simple.
My only concern was the very low expectations the company seems to have for it's employees; it did create a very relaxed and friendly interview process, however it simply told me that they are not seeking quality employees.
