The interview process for me took place over about 2-3 months from start to finish. I applied in October and the process was finished by December. The interview process started out with the career fair at my university where I meet the recruiter for Union Pacific. After that, I scheduled an interview for the day after the career fair with them. This was a preliminary interview to ensure that I would be a good fit for the company. After that first interview, I received a link from the recruiter to officially apply online for the position. After applying online officially for the program I received a request to complete their "OMT Battery Test" in the next few days. It was just a generic personality and mental ability test. After passing this online test I received a phone call from Omaha, NE to schedule my 2nd round interviews a few weeks after passing the test. I went to Omaha, NE and spent an entire day there going through multiple rounds of interviews and then flew back home, and then I heard back from Union Pacific a couple days after that.
