      Entrevista

      I applied for this role in Mid June 2018 that was based in San Jose, USA. Round 1 - The first round was supposed to be with the hiring manager but since she was travelling the CTO of the company happen to call for the interview. It was a healthy conversation and he liked me and advanced me to the next round but on further discussion with the HR - due to immigration issues I had to withdraw my candidacy. In Jan 2019, I moved to India and approached the CTO via Linkedin again as they had an opening in Bangalore, India for the same role. The CTO put me in touch with the HR in Bangalore and since the previous feedback was great she put me in for the 2nd round of interview to chat with the SVP of CXP Team and it went really well. Round 2 - The SVP liked me a lot and I was asked to chat with the Hiring Manager - who was the Director of Customer Success Team. Round 3 - 1 week later - the final round happened where we had a chat, she was pretty cool and knowledgeable and we had a healthy conversation discussing about what I bring to the table and how I fit into this role. At the end of the call - she went on to offer me the role (verbal offer) and said that I should hear from the HR soon. Round 4 - After almost 2 weeks - I get an offer from Unbxd and I get on a call with the HR to negotiate. She said she need to discuss with the team and get back to me. 2 weeks later I was told that I need to speak with the SVP again as he wants to have 1 more conversation on the negotiations and that I need to be flexible with the call setup as he is travelling. After waiting for 1 month, still the call never happened, HR kept on providing excuses that he is travelling and then late February out of nowhere, I get a standard email, not phone call that the position has been put on hold....(Surprised) I reach out to the hiring manager and was able to get on a call with her who was completely surprised that HR sent me this note and had no clue what has happened. but assured she would help me out. She said she will talk to the SVP to see how things can be expedited and close the ofer.....(Wow great news). Next day she said to get in touch with the SVP as he will take the final call. The SVP said that he has to confirm with the HR and then close the offer. All conversations over a chat message. No phone call. Yesterday evening - I get a text not email or phone call that at this time the position will have to be put on hold...(No reasons shared or why). I ask him to get on a call to discuss the reason and the response I get is - I have b2b calls and cant do it....(Seriously) THOROUGHLY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE !!!! I am so disappointed with the kind of professionalism Unbxd and HR have showcased. Being a professional and putting in so much effort and time behind the interviews and this is the kind of treatment they provide as if they do not care. PS - Everytime I only had to call the HR to seek an update on my candidacy and not the HRs who are supposed to do their jobs of updating the candidate with crystal clear communications. My only 2 cents will be to just provide crystal clear communications by informing the candidate proactively and improve on HR Department and the direction from the leadership.
