Me postulé a través de una recomendación de un empleado. El proceso tomó 3 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Ulta Beauty en dic 2012
Entrevista
1 phone interview with the salon manager recruiter, a personality test, and then a face to face interview with a different recruiter (not sure what her exact title was but she seemed to know the hair biz) I have been a stylist for almost 10 years and have not had a "real" interview in at least that long so for obvious reasons I was especially nervous during the phone interview. Much more comfortable with the physical interview. Both of the women that I interviewed with were very pleasant and nice, professional and they seem to know exactly the type of person that will fit this position. I interviewed for the salon manager position at a new location that will be opening and found out a few days after the final interview that my husband got a promotion and they are transferring him to another state. I looked at the careers section on the ulta website and actually found that an ulta less than 15 miles from our new location is looking for a Salon Manager! I am in the process of interviewing with the GM at that location. With this being such a busy time of year it has been hard for us to get a chance to talk more in depth. At this point I am not sure of my status. I figure that since I have had 2 interviews with corporate and the GM at this new store I am interviewing for, they have an interest in myself and what I can offer to the company. I have nothing but good things to say about each of the 3 woman I have spoken with. They all seem to be passionate and happy with their careers at ulta.......Fingers, eyes, and toes crossed for me ;)

the most unexpected questions were in the first of the 2 online personality quizes. example: "I have been in my share of trouble." do you...strongly agree...agree... neutral/neither....disagree ..... strongly disagree. Well.....everyone will have a different view of trouble based on many factors- religious beliefs, how and where they lived. The morals and values of the people that were close to them....etc....so many different factors here.
to that question I think I answered "agree" I'm 35 now and when I look back at my late teens and into my 20s.....yeah, I was in what I think was 'my share of trouble" Ive never been in any legal trouble. Didint really do anything illegal . I did go out alot with my friends and many times worried my mother to death and other times made her really angry. Ive done things i am not proud of and things I wish I could go back and undo or redo. But, isnt this how it is for every single person on earth? Hasnt everyone been in "their share of trouble"? from their perspective or someone elses? I kill a spider without question. To 1 person I may seem like a hero...to another a vicious monster. ...that is my extended version . The interviews with actual people were very pleasant and after the initial phone interview ( i was so nervous!) I did and still am enjoying this enterview process :)

I interviewed for a new location they were opening, I have many years of experience in retail, inventory management and sales.
They seemed interested and asked to set up a follow-up interview, however, they called once and when I called back to set something up they said they would reach out to set something up but never did.
I felt very let-down because they said I was a perfect fit for the role.
Group interview, was not told it would be a group interview. They wanted me to interview as a BA but I was not interested. Called two separate times to follow up but never heard back.
