Entrevista
I submitted my resume online and heard back from a recruiter the next day. I am always hesitant when I hear back that quickly. I did the initial phone interview with the recruiter, and she sent me some additional forms for me to fill out. This was a time consuming process. I took the Humanetrics Jung Typology test, a sales skills test (this was the first red flag because any honest employer looking to recruit an accounting or finance professional would not be administering tests containing hypothetical sales and customer service scenarios), and a writing test which consisted of rewriting a paragraph. I had to sign consent for a background check and a credit history. The credit history asked me for my SSN, drivers license number and my age (big red flag #2). There are disclaimers on the the credit history stating that response to these questions is voluntary, but I had the feeling that I would be relegated to the circular file if I did not provide this information. I spent almost 2 hours on this paperwork and knew this was not an employer I would be willing to work for. I decided to proceed anyway just for the experience and gave bogus information for my SSN, DL# and DOB. I knew I wouldn't be taking the job but I went to the in-person interview anyway, just in case I was totally mistaken. I thought maybe my perception would change when I met with a recruiter in person. I was not totally mistaken; there was no boost of positivity for me when I arrived that day. I went to the "interview" to find out I was one of many applicants on a cattle call that day. I took some numeric tests which made me prove I could quickly put numbers in correct order. This is the same test I took to get a customer service job years ago in high school. I am a degreed professional with many years' worth of actual finance and accounting experience, so I found this to be a pointless, silly exercise. When I finally was given a face-to-face interview, I was able to discern by the questioning that they were looking to fill a collections position, which was not what I had originally applied for. I played the game and at the end of the interview I thanked the recruiter for her time. Naturally I pretended to be hoping to make it to the next level. When I got home I called back and withdrew my application for the position.
If you are an accountant or finance professional, please be wary of applying for Uline's "financial analyst" or "senior financial analyst" positions.

Went through multiple interviews, just to not hear from anyone about the final decision for months until I reached out to find out myself. During interviews they asked for the most part about previous experiences and project success.

What are some of your biggest challenges when working on a long term project?
The first round interview was mostly behavioral questions. It started with a tell me about yourself and why I was interested in the company. Overall it was a good experience.
