Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 3 meses. Acudí a una entrevista en Ubisoft (Annecy) en jun 2023
Entrevista
I originally applied for a position on an unannounced project. I passed all interviews and the technical task was a success. A week after I was supposed to sign a contract, the hiring manager told me that the news were not great, I am not allowed to say why. The whole process took about a month. Then I applied for another position on a different project, I did another test, but never got a response. The same hiring manager got back to me two months after, apologizing and asking if I want to schedule a call to discuss what happened. We sheduled a call for the next morning. I never got the call. Then I applied to another office of the same company and I told the new hiring manager about my experience. A couple of hours after, the first hiring manager called again to apologize and to tell me they decided to continue forward with an internal hire. I am not sure how much of what that person said was true, but it was definitely an absolute joke and a waste of three months of my life.

The usual questions on an interview for a technical artist
Two technical tests and several interviews spanned across one month time. Quite a long process, but every request was in my opinion really fair for the job position. The process was held and evaluated by very competent and helpful employees (always very transparent with their feedback).

First interview was HR interview via Teams. They said a test will be sent to me in 2 weeks. Interviews with team leader and manager will follow after the test. Overall good interview experience.

I was applying for the Technical Artist role at Ubisoft Da Nang with two stage interviews, one with the recruiter and one with the manager.
I was also required to do a pre-interviewing test with a duration of 6 days. The interviews went well, and my test results are positive. Interviewers are polite and friendly, but quite rushy from my own point of view.
Afterward, they promised to give an interview result after approximately 14 work days, but the recruiter lady not follow-up. I reached out two times to have the recruiter explain the situation I'm in, and she said they're looking for someone competent in skill X for this project (they changed the job description multiple times to the point of hiring a unicorn).
The recruiter also said they are also looking for another technical artist role, but they're not sure about the requirements of the job they are hiring and asked me to wait further until the official announcement. I politely replied and asking to do an additional test and expecting to receive an update from them, but got ghosted anyway. Totally unprofessional.
