I didn't have a phone interview. I went straight to a face-to face interview. I interviewed with the hiring manager and a peer in two different meetings. The hiring manager said he was shocked that I or anyone else he had interviewed didn't know that a book was written about U.S. Cellular's corporate culture. The interview focus was behavioral. The hiring manager asked me very little questions about my work experience. He sat within my personal space( I am easy going person). It was the worst and most bizarre interview I have ever experienced. You must have a deep awareness and appreciation of U.S. Cellular's corporate culture to move to the second round.
