I spoke with HR/the recruiter by phone for an initial screening. A week or so later, I was invited to a video interview with the hiring manager. The interview with the hiring manager was standard, with questions about my experience and behavioral situations, but she had difficulty answering any of my questions about the team and company. When I asked at the end if she had any concerns about my fit, she said no. I was rejected the following morning and felt she had lied to my face.
