Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 2 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en USAA (Colorado Springs, CO) en may 2017

Filled out online app, took online test, phone interview, in-store interview. Overall a fairly easy process, important to work on communicating clearly and articulate your answers. The interview questions are well documented here on Glassdoor and mirror the phone interview, so practice them if you are at all anxious or want to really nail the interview.

I was sent a referral and applied via that link. A week later I was sent an email about an assessment. A day or two after that I was sent an email from a recruiter about a phone interview. That process consisted of talking about past experiences, training information, and two or three STAR format questions. She stated that I did well and set me up for a manager interview a few days out. At the manager interview, I met with an auto manager who went over all the company benefits, training schedule, etc in addition to asking more questions. He said I would receive a call within the next week as the training class started in two and a half weeks. This was two weeks ago and the class is supposed to start in 6 days. I have not heard anything since so I assume I did not get the position.

USAA has churned out a very structured application to interview process and for this position went as follows:
Initial screening was online assessment that had typing speed and accuracy portion as well as a personality/trait questionnaire. This was generated within 24 hours of the online application submission.
Following what I assume was a successful online screening an email was sent out by a recruiter setting aside a time for a phone screening. This screening was a few days after the online assessment and was very structured. The recruiter outlined the position (read through the job posting), the salary, and general information regarding USAA as a company. There was very little room for discussion of further information of the role and or questions and the extent of my input was agreeing that the compensation and terms of the position were acceptable. This screening completed after approximately 30 minutes and I assume I had met requirements that were being considered on this level and was informed I would receive an email further outlining position, primarily in regard to the career trajectory of the position at hand, and the addition of a video clip outlining the adjuster role. The email also set forth a time for the next interview which would take place with two claims managers one of which was named in the email, but different managers other than the one noted conducted the interview.
Final phone interview took place at the designated time a few days following the previous phone screen and as mentioned above was with two claims managers that were both over auto adjusters rather than property. As with before the process was heavily weighted toward answering questions asked and hypotheticals put forth with very little room to expound. Overall this interview took approximately 1 hour and was conducted primarily by just one of the managers while the other took notes. The hypotheticals asked were answered with anonymity in mind due to the nature of my current position and the specific event, which led to one of the interviewers repeatedly probing for details, while not considering my answer specific enough. At which point I had a bad taste in my mouth for USAA, or at the least my experience with the hiring process that they had set up. I was routinely shot down from further inquiring about position, compensation, company culture etc. being informed most of my questions would be answered throughout the spiel that was presented.
I can only attest to as far as I made it in the process, but the impression I had received was there was very little room for negotiation of salary or other benefits were an offer to have been made.
