It was the same as any enlisted navy guy trying to enter the military. they scour your background and add a waiver for the things that they are supposed to not let you enter with. I had to score well on the ASVAB to get into the nuclear position and it came with a bonus but there was a lot of paper work and a lot of questioning. I needed a security clearance so they questioned my family and friends as well as did a comprehensive background check on me, but it was a pretty simple interview process.

Visit your local recruiter and he or she will set you up for an experience of a lifetime. You will get to travel to places you will never see in your lifetime and it will be a whole bunch of hard work for nothing. Be honest with the recruiter and be smart about it.
