Simple phone call with Program Manager, but the HR process is a nightmare. The entire system is centralized and over encumbered. If you can even make contact with someone from the Forest you are OK, but HR is a black box pulling applicants at random.

Long, drawn-out bureaucratic process with canned questions. However, there was no limit on how long you could make the answers and where you could go with them. Actual hiring took months.
