Be prepared to describe yourself, leadership style, experiences, and come prepared with a five year plan. I recommended bringing a list of what you view as personal priorities within your organization. Do some research on your brigade commander. You should know something about him/her and be prepared to ask him/her a few questions.

Interview with Battalion Commander. Discussion covers leadership style, values, and goals. Battalion Commander wants to make sure they are putting you in the right fit. I had the experience of spending the morning doing PT with him and then we ate lunch together, and had an interview later that afternoon.

I had to submit an application packet which consisted of my leadership philosophy, ORB, last 3 OERs, and PT card.
I then set up an in-person interview with the Institute Commander.
Always wear ASUs to a company command interview unless specifically instructed to wear duty uniform!
