I applied online after a friend recommended UPS to me, I picked a interview for the next day and showed up over 30 minutes early and decided to go in, only to be taken in 20 minutes before my scheduled time. I sat in a “waiting room” until the interviewer came and got me to take me to a conference room. The “interview” had to have only been about 5 minutes long but he also let me tour a little of the facility. He told me there would be a background check which would take about 3 days. Interview day took about a half hour if my time, max.
Setup an appointment with the interviewer. Interviewed with a large group of applicants. They took us on a tour of the building during one of the shifts. It gave us an idea the job consists of and what we would be doing.
There was no interview at all. You are automatically hired and put to work within 20 mins of your first day. You have 30 working days to see and prove if you are fit for the job.
