The hiring process took 6 months. I went through a technical test then a phone interview with a pannel composed by 4 people. Long rime passed between the test and the interview, like one month and after the interview other three months passed to get finally an offer. My process was very long, normally UN takes around 3 maximum 4 months to get back to you.

It took 2 month to be called for the interview, and and another 5 to get the offer. The recruitment process is very slow. It is competence based and very interactive.
