Had a phone screen with the recruiter followed by a few conversations with the hiring manager. Moved onto “in person” interviews with several engineers and other product folk.
This would have been a positive experience with the exception of two things:
1. Meeting with one of the VPs of Product. He showed up late for the interview and clearly did not want to be there.
2. After the process, the recruiter told me that I would hear back either way shortly. It’s been over a month and still nothing.
I have a hard time, especially given the world right now, recommending someone go through an interview process if the recruiter is going to ghost the candidate.
With the exception of those two things, pretty standard interview process. Everyone else I spoke to was great.
