A recruiter reached out to me in LinkedIn, and had the initial recruiter screen. Got the call for hiring manager phone screen after couple of weeks. I really liked the hiring manager phone screen especially compared to other interviews I have given. It was a mix of technical (SQL), behavioral, product based open-ended and background questions. It reduced the complexity of scheduling multiple technical screening and hiring manager rounds.
Was invited to the onsite interview the next week after the hiring manager screening. The onsite interview consisted of 6 rounds - product partnership (metrics, new product ideas, and situation based questions), Python round, one round consisting past experiences and impact prioritization questions, another round consisting of deep dive into metrics and A/B tests, one round of questions about business model of Trulia and how data is aggregated, etc and finally hiring manager round.
I loved the fact that the process was very smooth and sweet. People were really helpful and nice there!
