My experience was disappointing due to the lack of communication at the final stage of the hiring process. After successfully progressing through the interview process, completing the first, second, and third rounds, I was scheduled for what I understood to be the final interview. I prepared for the meeting and was looking forward to speaking with the team. Approximately one hour before the interview, I received a notification that the interview had been canceled. I contacted the Talent Acquisition representative and was told there had been some confusion. I was assured that I would receive an update regarding next steps by the following Thursday. Unfortunately, I never received that update. I sent an email to the Talent person, but she didn't reply. Instead, I later received an email on Friday stating the company had decided to move forward with other candidates. I followed up with another email for clarification, as I've already invested significant time in the interview process and am at the final stage. I did not receive a response to my follow-up. I understand that hiring priorities can change, but candidates deserve timely communication and closure, particularly after advancing through multiple interview rounds to the final stage.
