Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 6 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Trane (Oklahoma City, OK) en feb 2018

      Entrevista

I was initially called by the recruiter with the typical questions about myself. He then set up a phone interview with the manager and technical leader that was to take place a week later. I was informed that the manager couldn't make the call, but the technical leader would do the interview. The interview with the technical leader went well. He asked me about my experiences, etc. and then called me again a couple of days later for a second interview. He told me to Google the Lawton area in Oklahoma. If I was willing to live in that area, he said "the sky's the limit" (referring to my career with Trane). I was then called again by the recruiter to set up an official Skype interview with both the technical leader and the manager for the following week. The manager informed me twice that he didn't have time to make the interview. After three weeks, it was time to Skype. I received a text from the technical leader asking me if I was ready at the agreed to interview time. I responded yes and waited. Within a minute, he called me directly and said they decided to abort the Skype and just hold a phone conference. It was fairly obvious from the get go that the manager had no desire to hire me. This entire process was a huge waste of my time. If you are a woman, I wouldn't bother trying to get a job with Trane. Unless, of course, it is as part of the secretarial pool. For reference, I currently hold a job with Johnson Controls as a certified factory trained controls technician, and I went to college for Mechatronics.
